Managing Subscription

Learn how to manage your tagd-ai subscription, change plans, and handle billing.

Viewing Your Subscription

Current Plan

  1. Go to AccountSubscription
  2. See your current plan:
    • Plan name
    • Billing cycle
    • Next billing date
    • Current usage

Subscription Details

View:

  • Start date
  • Current period
  • Payment method
  • Price

Upgrading Your Plan

Free to Pro

  1. Go to AccountSubscription
  2. Click Upgrade to Pro
  3. Choose billing cycle:
    • Monthly ($15/month)
    • Annual ($144/year)
  4. Enter payment information
  5. Click Subscribe
  6. Pro features activate immediately

Pro to Enterprise

  1. Go to AccountSubscription
  2. Click Contact Sales
  3. Fill out contact form
  4. Sales team will reach out
  5. Custom pricing discussed
  6. Onboarding scheduled

What Happens on Upgrade

  • New features available immediately
  • Prorated credit from current plan
  • New billing cycle starts
  • Limits increased instantly

Downgrading Your Plan

Pro to Free

  1. Go to AccountSubscription
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select Free
  4. Confirm downgrade
  5. Changes at end of billing period

Before Downgrading

Ensure you're within free plan limits:

  • 10 or fewer tags
  • Under 100 MB storage
  • No critical API integrations

Handling Excess Usage

If you exceed free limits:

  1. Delete tags to get under 10
  2. Remove files to reduce storage
  3. Export data you want to keep
  4. Or consider staying on Pro

Canceling Your Subscription

Cancel Pro Plan

  1. Go to AccountSubscription
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Provide feedback (optional)
  4. Confirm cancellation

What Happens on Cancellation

  • Access continues until end of billing period
  • Then reverts to free plan
  • Tags beyond limit become read-only
  • Data is preserved (not deleted)

Reactivating

To resubscribe after canceling:

  1. Go to AccountSubscription
  2. Click Reactivate
  3. Enter payment info
  4. Full access restored

Changing Billing Cycle

Monthly to Annual

Save 17% by switching:

  1. Go to AccountSubscription
  2. Click Switch to Annual
  3. Prorated credit applied
  4. Pay annual amount
  5. New cycle starts

Annual to Monthly

  1. Go to AccountSubscription
  2. Click Switch to Monthly
  3. Changes at end of annual period
  4. Monthly billing begins after

Payment Methods

Update Payment Method

  1. Go to AccountBilling
  2. Click Payment Methods
  3. Click Add New or Edit
  4. Enter card details
  5. Save

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Debit cards
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

Failed Payments

If payment fails:

  1. Email notification sent
  2. 3 retry attempts over 10 days
  3. Update payment method to resolve
  4. Account downgraded if unresolved

Billing History

View Invoices

  1. Go to AccountBilling
  2. Click Invoices
  3. See all past charges
  4. Download as PDF

Invoice Details

Each invoice shows:

  • Invoice number
  • Date
  • Amount
  • Payment method
  • Plan details

Refunds

Refund Policy

  • Cancel within 7 days of upgrade for full refund
  • Annual plans: Prorated refund within 30 days
  • No refunds after 30 days

Requesting Refund

  1. Email [email protected]
  2. Include account email
  3. Reason for refund
  4. Processed within 5-10 business days

Subscription FAQs

What if I Forget to Cancel?

  • Cancel anytime before renewal
  • Contact support within 48 hours of charge
  • Case-by-case refund consideration

Can I Pause My Subscription?

Currently not available. Options:

  • Downgrade to free
  • Cancel and resubscribe later
  • Data preserved in either case

Do Unused Credits Roll Over?

  • AI generations reset monthly
  • Storage limits don't roll over
  • API calls reset per period

What About Taxes?

  • Prices may be subject to local taxes
  • Tax calculated at checkout
  • Shown on invoice

Multiple Subscriptions

Organization + Personal

You can have:

  • Personal free/pro account
  • Separate organization account
  • Billed independently

Consolidating Accounts

To merge accounts:

  1. Contact support
  2. Transfer tags between accounts
  3. Cancel duplicate subscription
  4. Keep one primary account
