How It Works​

Single Tag Purchase​

Buy tags individually:

  • No subscription required
  • One-time payment per tag
  • Tag is permanent (no expiration)
  • Works on any plan

Purchasing Tags​

From Dashboard​

  1. Click + New Tag
  2. If at limit, see purchase option
  3. Click Purchase Tag
  4. Choose Basic or Premium
  5. Complete payment
  6. Tag is created immediately

From Settings​

  1. Go to Account → Subscription
  2. Click Buy Tags
  3. Select quantity and type
  4. Complete payment
  5. Tags added to your account

Basic vs Premium Tags​

Basic Tags ($0.25)​

  • 25 MB storage included
  • All standard features
  • QR code included
  • Standard analytics

Best for:

  • Text-only tags
  • Small images
  • Simple information

Premium Tags ($1.00)​

  • 100 MB storage included
  • QR code included
  • Standard analytics
  • More storage space

Best for:

  • Multiple files
  • High-resolution images
  • Detailed content

Managing Purchased Tags​

View Purchased Tags​

  1. Go to Account → Usage
  2. See Purchased Tags section
  3. Shows:
    • Tags purchased
    • Storage per tag
    • Purchase date

Difference from Plan Tags​

Purchased tags:

  • Don't count toward plan limit
  • Have dedicated storage
  • Are permanent
  • Don't expire if you downgrade

Storage with Purchased Tags​

Dedicated Storage​

Each purchased tag has its own storage:

  • Not shared with plan storage
  • Cannot exceed tag limit
  • Files only for that tag

Example​

Free plan (100 MB) + 2 Premium tags (100 MB each):

  • 100 MB for your 10 free tags
  • 100 MB for purchased tag #1
  • 100 MB for purchased tag #2
  • Total: 300 MB available

Do purchased tags expire?​

No, purchased tags are permanent. They remain in your account indefinitely.

Can I upgrade a Basic to Premium?​

Not currently. Create a new Premium tag and migrate content if needed.

What if I upgrade to Pro?​

Purchased tags remain separate. You get:

  • Unlimited plan tags
  • Plus your purchased tags
  • Both work simultaneously

Can I transfer a purchased tag?​

Yes, transfer ownership like any tag. New owner receives the tag and its storage.

What happens if I delete my account?​

All tags are deleted, including purchased ones. No refunds for deleted purchased tags.
